Your donation supports donor recruitment, collection, processing, cryo-storage and distribution of stem cells to patients battling cancers and other serious conditions.
South Texas Blood & Tissue collects a lifesaving blood supply for more than 100 hospitals in 49 South Texas counties. Your gift makes a difference in the lives of cancer and transplant patients, trauma victims, newborns and moms, and other patients in your community today and tomorrow.
Your donation in honor of Lori Wright’s service to the community will support equipment, facilities, and research to develop medical advances using cells from donors, cord blood, and tissue.
Your gift helps The Foundation raise funds and awareness to support the many lifesaving activities of BioBridge Global through community events and outreach.
When someone you love dies, you may feel like you’ve lost a part of yourself. This fund, in honor of Melissa Ann Thomas benefits the Grief Support and Life Legacies program that promotes healing, as well as provides comfort and support to families of tissue donors. This program includes workshops and events, newsletters, referrals to other local resources and email/phone follow-up support. Learn more.
This card is part of a set by 5-year-old cancer survivor Amy Morkovsky, a testament to her bravery and resilience. Amy was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2. With her family by her side during numerous treatments and blood transfusions, Amy found her love for art. Three years later, Amy had grown into a beautiful and lively little 5-year-old who was able to “ring the bell” announcing she was cancer-free.

Maximize giving with strategic benefits
DAF gifts are a flexible and tax-efficient way to support The Foundation. By recommending a grant from their donor-advised fund through the sponsoring organization, donors can make an immediate impact on our mission while having already received an initial tax benefit at the time the funds were contributed to the DAF.

Gifts of appreciated securities and closely held stock can be beneficial, both to you and The Blood & Tissue Center Foundation.
